Poon obtained his Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) from the University of Sydney in 2002, and Master of Exercise Science (Strength and Conditioning) from the Edith Cowan University, Western Australia in 2010.
Poon acquired extensive knowledge in the treatment of golf related injuries from his experience in an exchange attachment with the Melbourne Golf Injury Clinic, learning from the world renowned physiotherapist, Ramsay McMaster. He further honed his clinical skills in the management of sports and spinal injuries during his career at the Singapore General Hospital, and active involvement in providing physiotherapy treatment for rugby players during local interschool championships.
With more than 16 years of devoted clinical experience, Poon is an experienced senior physiotherapist who can be trusted to deliver highly professional treatment. He constantly upgrades his skills through attending various training courses locally and overseas to update himself with the latest advances in the field of Physiotherapy.
Siraj has more than 10 years of clinical experience in various hospitals and rotated through many disciplines, including, geriatric, orthopaedics and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation etc. His special interests are in orthopaedics, sports and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
Bavita is particularly passionate about providing manual massage as a management technique to soften tight muscles. She is a caring, friendly and easy-going Physiotherapist who is always ready to listen to patients and attend professionally to their rehabilitation needs.
For the past 11 years, she has been actively involved in the field of Paediatrics Neurology and Orthopaedics Rehabilitation. She has extensive experience working in KKWC Hospital’s Respiratory, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Obstetric & Gynaecology Ward and Paediatric Neurology Out-Patient Physiotherapy Department. She also conducts Clinical Home Visitation, Footwear Prescription/ Modification, Antenatal Class, Aqua Fitness Class and Postnatal Exercise Class.
In 2007, she was given the privilege to undergo a Paediatric Neurology Physiotherapy placement in Turkey, Istanbul. Under the guidance of Professor Mehmet Ozak and Principal physiotherapist, Mr. Ozcan Kalkan, she has obtained skills to perform preoperative and postoperative assessment and rehabilitation for children. Since 2010, she has been actively involved in Clinical Research, Student Development, Paediatric Symposium, Group exercise prescription.
Her Recent interest is to incorporate Clinical Pilates Corrective Exercises in the rehabilitation of children with Neurological and Orthopaedic conditions. She is constantly upgrading herself with courses and workshops, to improve patient care.
